A new start-up company is about to take off. Project Peufdaddy has just been propelled to higher grounds by the jury of the Grenoble start-up week-end. Focus on the winning team.
They worked and mingled for 54 hours ! The 15 teams still in the race were presenting, this sunday november 17th, the fruits of their entrepreneurial brainstorms to the 8 members of the jury.
Much stress and only 5 minutes to pitch, another 5 minutes under a flow of questions.
Business plans, road maps and prototypes at hand, the teams, created for the event, competed to demonstrate their best challenger.
All presentations were sharp, some remarquable if you consider the short amount of preparation time.
Real time info on snow
The winning team for this 4th edition is Project Peufdaddy, a receiver measuring and instantly sharing snow heights 24/7. And there’s more.
It’s also a very clever mobile application designed to tease snow lovers at the first snow flakes.
The goal ? To provide free riders and other ski lovers with on spot information, instantly updated and reliable on the snow situation in one particular resort.
« When resorts publish their forecast, late mornings, it’s already too late for outsiders, local riders have surfed the fresh flakes and changed the skiing conditions already » explains Jérôme Folliet, the lead on the project and adds a touch of humor : « Project Peufdaddy addresses this issue head-on ». Full speed…
